My research explores the intersection of epistemology, politics, and the media. With a nod to a former defense secretary, I assess how news coverage influences what we know about what we know. I am particularly interested in understanding how complex national security issues--from nuclear proliferation to digital misinformation campaigns--are debated in the public sphere.
